What to Expect on Sunday

Westminster seeks to praise God with reverent and joyful worship. Our Sunday morning services are traditional in nature. We worship by praising our creator God, confessing our sins before Him, confessing our faith, reading the Bible, singing hymns and psalms, and hearing preaching based on God's holy and inerrant word. Our music is mostly classical, featuring piano, organ, and choir, with occasional use of handbells or other orchestral instruments.

There is no dress code for worship. Come as you are and you will be welcome! You will find many dressed in suits and ties and others in more casual attire.

Children are a part of God's covenant community, and are invited to be part of the worship service with their parents. We have a nursery for children, newborn through three years old. Children of all ages are welcome to remain in the sanctuary for the entire service or, if you prefer, children ages 4-6 can be dismissed to Children's Church prior to the sermon.

During the summer, our two morning worship services run from 9:15am to 10:15am and from 11:00am to 12:15pm, with fellowship time from 10:30am to 10:50am. Evening worship begins at 6:00pm and lasts approximately one hour.

We serve communion on the first Sunday morning and the third Sunday evening of each month. We welcome all followers of Jesus Christ who are trusting in Jesus alone for salvation, who are baptized members of a congregation that proclaims the gospel of Jesus, who are at peace with God and their neighbor, and who seek strength to live in deeper communion with Jesus, to partake of the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper with us.
